Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With an all-out effort, Rembertów DJs's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from D.J. Žaba, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Platini in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michel Platini in the 24th minute. Michel Platini took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute D.J. Žaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. D.J. Bambini-Adam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Platini during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Rembertów DJs got a freekick which was hit by Michel Platini. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Michel Platini made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by D.J. Žaba in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Platini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rembertów DJs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wieslaw Bielatowicz in the 56th minute. Michel Platini scored 4-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Platini in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Michel Platini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes, Michel Platini made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Platini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wladyslaw Rzeszutek was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Patricio Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patricio Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Michel Platini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Michel Platini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Tomasz Ryback got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kazimierz Tyski hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from D.J. Bambini-Adam, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Michel Platini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel Platini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Platini in the 86th minute of play. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Michel Platini sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
