Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felix Negrescu kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Blăniță in the 7th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Negrescu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Felix Negrescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tineretul Arad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Daniel Anton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilian Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Rizea hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emilian Blăniță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tineretul Arad's goalkeeper Daniel Anton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 65th minute. Daniel Anton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Emilian Blăniță tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tineretul Arad's Daniel Anton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 73rd minute of play. Daniel Anton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Felix Negrescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Anton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Emilian Blăniță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Tineretul Arad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Tineretul Arad got a freekick which was hit by Robert Graur.
