An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play forced Atletico Kyperountas's goalkeeper Matias Ralondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryszard Bronicki in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Wyrzykowski came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Atletico Kyperountas's Ryszard Bronicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryszard Bronicki got free with Dante Lacasa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Bronicki in the 39th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Kyperountas were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sharma Dorado took the corner. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryszard Bronicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Atletico Kyperountas booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Bronicki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The corner ended in Kong Hui Yang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Matias Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Atletico Kyperountas's Jan Wyrzykowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Jan Wyrzykowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Jan Wyrzykowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Ralondo saved Atletico Kyperountas from getting behind. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Matias Ralondo made a huge save. Jan Wyrzykowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Atletico Kyperountas were victorious despite being under pressure from Mexico for much of the match.
