After 16 minutes of play, Punta Alvear's Inocencio Frichoso made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inocencio Frichoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of play forced Punta Alvear's goalkeeper Venancio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Jacinto Eleazar took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 87 minutes into the game, when Godofredo Guifre put in a rough tackle. Punta Alvear:s Venancio Oto showed great skill when he stopped Abraham Alguacil:s penalty. Bogdan Gopov kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Punta Alvear were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Panama for a fine match.
