Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Springfält. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th match minute, SJÖARED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Stovall to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Springfält saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Springfält having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Ekegren in the 20th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kaj Ekegren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's goalkeeper Adrian Springfält had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adrian Springfält was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adrian Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 79th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, SJÖARED's Urban Rudberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adrian Springfält made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Adrian Springfält in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urban Rudberg in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Rudberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SJÖARED's Theo Stovall got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
