Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Man Tas kicked off to start the match. Tobias Elizardo was a little too slow when Facundo Cadaval got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Henning Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henning Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Tobias Elizardo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 23rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Man Tas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Elizardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Leoz during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Man Tas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Bogumil Spychalski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Sarmiento de Resistencia were awarded a corner. Bogumil Spychalski went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Leonardo Leoz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Alex Herrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Şafak Uysal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 66th minute of the game. After 68 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Elizardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mexico booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Martinsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 74th minute of play. Sarmiento de Resistencia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henning Martinsson in the 78th minute. The corner led Sarmiento de Resistencia's Henning Martinsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Herrero in the 84th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Oton to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Dante Oton got a free kick in the 87th minute. Tobias Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tobias Elizardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarmiento de Resistencia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mexico.
