Camilo Gisbert made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitomir Vutov. Vitomir Vutov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vitomir Vutov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, FC Philotimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tutorskiy to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Fuentes in the 74th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Fuentes in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Philotimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Strand didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Efrain Fuentes in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Efrain Fuentes got in the 92nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julio Vera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 96 minutes, Patricio Igartua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Philotimo and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Philotimo's Patricio Igartua got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Philotimo could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
