But to his dismay, Nils-Emil Jespersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Vacker in the 11th minute of play. Vilhelm Rang kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Elliot Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 17th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sun Lightfoot in the 27th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sun Lightfoot kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sun Lightfoot came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sun Lightfoot was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Calcio Brigate Rossonere getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jonny Vacker hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sun Lightfoot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sun Lightfoot charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sun Lightfoot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sun Lightfoot kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Vilhelm Rang quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 64th minute of the game.
