Alexander Carballo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Björkqvist in the 97th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th match minute, Onsala Ass Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börge Backman to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Onsala Ass Kickers were the better team. Onsala Ass Kickers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
