Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carl Tomasson got the match started through his kick off. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Brask in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sandsjöfors FF's Edmund Kämpe. Edmund Kämpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gunnar Björkqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Tomasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Sandsjöfors FF's Holger Brask made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the game, Marco Tamayo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmund Kämpe. Marco Tamayo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tord Rydberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandsjöfors FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tord Rydberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Sandsjöfors FF booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmund Kämpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 41st minute. Holger Brask's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great ball. Kurt Mattsson made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Carl Tomasson immediately put the ball in play. Mateo Leguizamo's late challenge caught a Sandsjöfors FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Leguizamo helped the player get up and apologised. Mateo Leguizamo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 60th play minute Holger Brask came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Zorita. 2-3. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmund Kämpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmund Kämpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Holger Brask hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Holger Brask managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandsjöfors FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Holger Brask was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Tord Rydberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandsjöfors FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. After 83 played minutes Sandsjöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Tord Rydberg. In the 89th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. The Sandsjöfors FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sandsjöfors FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
