El coca fc's Florencio Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play. After 7 played minutes El coca fc got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Baleren. In the 8th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Van Landschoot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattijs Robijns, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Florencio Osasun despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Florencio Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El coca fc's Florencio Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florencio Osasun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Jardel Van Landschoot tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Noguera got free with Rolando Noboa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattijs Robijns in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. Yakiv Revut succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 36th playminute. In the 39th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florencio Osasun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of play forced El coca fc's goalkeeper Florencio Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Claudio Noguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Garais in the 67 minute of the game. In the 68th match minute, El coca fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yakiv Revut to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th of the match, Julian Murillo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Florencio Osasun got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 71st minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Milagros Fraga made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that El coca fc's Florencio Osasun managed to reach the ball for a save. After 72 minutes El coca fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Noguera in the 81st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, El coca fc's goalkeeper Florencio Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Milagros Fraga in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florencio Osasun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
