Christoffer Forsman hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Sandsjöfors FF's Edmund Kämpe got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Brask, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Carl Tomasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Holger Brask could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Ricardo Zorita however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Marco Tamayo hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Holger Brask sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Holger Brask hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Sandsjöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Edmund Kämpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Kämpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Fernandino in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Kämpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunnar Björkqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes in the game, Carl Tomasson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. In the 81st minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Kämpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Salvador fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sandsjöfors FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
