Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Peder Mellingen, made in the 2nd minute of the game. Laus Deo's Arsenio Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 6th minute of play. Laus Deo's Kong Ping got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grzegorz Roman hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Manni saved Laus Deo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Alberto Moura in the 23rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arsenio Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Alberto Moura in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes Laus Deo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Laus Deo booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Romeo Peto fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laus Deo's protests and gave Romeo Peto a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Peto hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Arsenio Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Laus Deo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Milagros Cabal kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Moura in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laus Deo made a substitution. Michel de Alcântara replaced Peder Mellingen. In the 68thth minute of the game Gildo Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Michel de Alcântara made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Alberto Moura in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Laus Deo's Luis Alberto Moura. But to his dismay, Luis Alberto Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Laus Deo's Timur Belyaninov got a free kick in the 84th minute. With his leg Arsenio Manni managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 87th match minute, Laus Deo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Peto to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Laus Deo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arsenio Manni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Laus Deo's Gildo Tande got a free kick in the 91st minute. Eliseu Arósio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Laus Deo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
