A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Stevnstrup got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Bonito. In the 12th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico-Pascal Kapteina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Nico-Pascal Kapteina slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villy Bjørnsholm in the 20th minute of the match. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 26 minutes of play, Stevnstrup's Nico-Pascal Kapteina made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nico-Pascal Kapteina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Nico-Pascal Kapteina slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by Stevnstrup's Svenning Jaaen, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. When Arthur Kiel came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Stevnstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Kiel couldn't finish the play. Villy Bjørnsholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nick Burvil helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Stevnstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick Burvil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico-Pascal Kapteina, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Stevnstrup getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nick Burvil hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico-Pascal Kapteina in the 78th minute of play. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Nico-Pascal Kapteina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Stevnstrup got a freekick which was hit by Villy Bjørnsholm. Benni Skovhus made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stevnstrup had played much better football throughout.
