Daniel Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Murillo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Chorache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ♦Diabetes♦'s Jonas Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 11th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute. Peru's Milagros Fraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonas Chorache in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Maurinho Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Ronaldinho in the 20th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by ♦Diabetes♦'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Jonas Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind ♦Diabetes♦'s goalkeeper Jonas Chorache, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Luz Tejedor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jonas Chorache was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s Cristiano Ronaldinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ♦Diabetes♦ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Ronaldinho walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. ♦Diabetes♦'s 方挺寒 was substituted for Daniel Björk. ♦Diabetes♦ made a substitution. Leonel Cordara replaced Cristiano Ronaldinho. Jonas Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, Leonel Cordara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Cordara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jonas Chorache came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Antonio Tenorio. But to his dismay, Antonio Tenorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Maurinho Senna scored 2-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to ♦Diabetes♦ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Anthon Odén hit a great ball. Peru's Eliseo Mina shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonas Chorache but with some difficulty. The ♦Diabetes♦ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
