Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Paulinho Paraibano came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Squadra Demarchi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Paraibano couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Pinho in the 21st minute of play. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Claudinho Pinho sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Queirós in the 29th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Oscar Saldanha made a huge save. Oscar Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Claudinho Pinho struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra Demarchi. 46 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Queirós in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Squadra Demarchi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Pinho was the one to do the kick off. Kléber Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Claudinho Pinho took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Claudinho Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Claudinho Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Joshua Curbelo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Squadra Demarchi's Ciro Castro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 92nd minute Abram Luque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 98 minutes in the game Nilson Corrêa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Claudinho Loyola. The El Salvador supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Squadra Demarchi's performance. The match ended with a win for Squadra Demarchi.
