Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Diamante Negro DK - VV's Willian Félix started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Ceni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Felix Luque fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Felix Luque a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Diamante Negro DK - VV booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Félix in the 7th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Victor Silva hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Rogério Ceni didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 25th minute, Vinícius Servaes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Frederico Pontes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Macos Graciani, made in the 35th minute of the game. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogério Ceni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Vinícius Servaes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Christian Antonelli quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Macos Graciani, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Servaes in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Cipriano Tróia was substituted for Frederico Pontes. After a rather tough play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's Vinícius Servaes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Christian Antonelli kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Rogério Ceni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Sidney de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Zonta. After 78 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Ceni was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Diamante Negro DK - VV defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot. Hugo Zonta came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. 91 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona scored 5-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogério Ceni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
