In the 4th match minute, GNUSKALLARNA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Thorsberg to maneuver through the defense. After 7 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the GNUSKALLARNA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 朱骋凡 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timmy Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villiam Vedholm in the 14th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Beckeman's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. John Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villiam Vedholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villiam Vedholm in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, GNUSKALLARNA's John Björk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 朱骋凡 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Villiam Vedholm was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Alexander Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Villiam Vedholm scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-2. A collision led to GNUSKALLARNA getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Villiam Vedholm hit a great ball. Timmy Löfgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood somewhat misplaced when Villiam Vedholm came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 81 minute. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. 朱骋凡 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Sverker Wennersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Hammarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded GNUSKALLARNA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
