Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Romos FC's Silviu Potocianu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Romero. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Luisão Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of the match. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes Romos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. When Nicu Slavici fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Romos FC's protests and gave Nicu Slavici a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Nicu Slavici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Wu Cheng De managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wu Cheng De was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 33 minutes, Wu Cheng De managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wu Cheng De was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. A hard shot 36 in the game by Luisão Romero from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Romos FC's Dinu Andone was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Romos FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Dinu Andone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisão Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Luisão Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute Xande Gatin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Romos FC's Xande Gatin. But to his dismay, Xande Gatin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Luisão Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidiu Cosâmbescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Ovidiu Cosâmbescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Romero in the 72nd minute of play. Luisão Romero took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Romos FC made a substitution. Eric Şerbănescu replaced Xande Gatin. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Luisão Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wu Cheng De, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Şerbănescu's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wu Cheng De, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Romos FC had won after a very even match.
