The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Schembri having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Northern California's 巩珂笑 got a free kick in the 10th minute. David Schembri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Northern California's David Schembri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 20th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Chorche in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Bernard McFrank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Abram Sarmiento. Fabio Monte struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northern California. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Monte's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Gervasio Isias came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Manzanares could save by the left post. David Schembri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 39th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Leandro Chorche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leandro Chorche really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hector Martxel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Chorche came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Monte scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Silverio Cordarius got a free kick in the 79th minute. With an all-out effort, Colombia's David Schembri threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Secada in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Schembri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Hector Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Schembri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Schembri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Santino Seco. 92 minutes into the match, Northern California's goalkeeper David Schembri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Abram Secada scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Schembri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Schembri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
