After 11 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Artur Binau fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Radomiak Radom's protests and gave Artur Binau a yellow card for diving instead. Artur Binau hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Pirlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrea Pirlo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Rzeszutek got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Witomir Zapolski during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Damazy Sroka hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Radomiak Radom players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrea Pirlo came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. During the 57th minute of the match Witomir Zapolski completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Witomir Zapolski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Radomiak Radom's Witomir Zapolski got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 60th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Andrea Pirlo however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrea Pirlo having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrea Pirlo. Andrea Pirlo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Radomiak Radom's Andrea Pirlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 80th minute of play. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Radomiak Radom.
