Kjell-Arne Åberg scored 1-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute, one of El Salvador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Salvador. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Moodys IF. Mieszko Jaruzelski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardo Zorita. 1-2. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Johannes Tidén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Tidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Moodys IF's Kjell-Arne Åberg. But to his dismay, Kjell-Arne Åberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Pettersson in the 31st minute of the match. Moodys IF's Azam Sum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Moodys IF from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Moodys IF's Mieszko Jaruzelski. In the 41st minute, Kjell-Arne Åberg made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moodys IF were winning 1-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian May was the one to do the kick off. Johannes Tidén struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moodys IF. After 55 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Curbelo. Azam Sum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Moodys IF's Brian May nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Pettersson in the 66th minute of play. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Johannes Tidén scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 1-8. 71 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Åberg came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Brian May left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Moodys IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. Kjell-Arne Åberg had several of the El Salvador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-11 score and a disappointed Ricardo Zorita as he didn't even see the shot coming. Joshua Curbelo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Curbelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Moodys IF booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Curbelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell-Arne Åberg struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moodys IF. In the 89th minute, Moodys IF's Erik Pettersson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita.
