Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristóvão de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alf Håning who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fazendinha's Alf Håning to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Alf Håning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 15th minute of the match Fazendinha got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alf Håning ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fazendinha's Alf Håning was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fazendinha were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alf Håning took the corner. The corner ended in Alf Håning almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Bondi in the 23rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Luiz Guilherme Melo from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the match, Fazendinha's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Maximino Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Cristóvão de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Fazendinha's Arturo Bondi in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Melo in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play forced Fazendinha's goalkeeper Maximino Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maximino Acevedo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Maximino Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of the match.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão de Barros in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fazendinha's goalkeeper Maximino Acevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão de Barros in the 71st minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Fazendinha's Cristóvão de Barros. But to his dismay, Cristóvão de Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Melo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maximino Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão de Barros scored 2-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
