Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walentin Julskov got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vilfred Degener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 6 minutes, Walentin Julskov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egernføde Boldklub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walentin Julskov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilfred Degener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilfred Degener. Vilfred Degener dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 19 minutes in the game, Luis Andino dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Antonio Arias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! In the 25th minute Walentin Julskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Bjørn Martensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Egernføde Boldklub's Walentin Julskov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Egernføde Boldklub were awarded a corner. Bjørn Martensen went to the cornerflag to take it. Steff Kermit kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Egernføde Boldklub's Walentin Julskov got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Rosenvad came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 50 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. The supporters of Egernføde Boldklub booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Rosenvad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59thth minute of the game Ferdinand Rosenvad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Ferdinand Rosenvad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egernføde Boldklub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Rosenvad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Vilfred Degener made a huge save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Egernføde Boldklub's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vilfred Degener quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 77 minutes into the game, Egernføde Boldklub's Walentin Julskov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
