Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frans Hökkvist kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wictor Mejling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tor Fredriksson in the 8th minute. After 11 minutes, Håkan Landin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bagarmossen and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bagarmossen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Landin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bagarmossen's Thomás Nickerson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Mejling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Bagarmossen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wictor Mejling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wictor Mejling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Tage Damm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montes's late challenge caught a Bagarmossen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Bagarmossen defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wictor Mejling. The Bagarmossen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wictor Mejling should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Frans Hökkvist struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bagarmossen. After 59 played minutes Bagarmossen got a freekick which was hit by Leif Mogren. 60 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Wictor Mejling threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Daniel Zorita this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Fredriksson in the 61st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Bagarmossen got a freekick which was hit by Tage Damm. Bagarmossen's Erland Björkqvist was substituted for Tor Fredriksson. Bagarmossen's Kent Norberg was substituted for Frans Hökkvist. Bagarmossen made a substitution. Gert Vik replaced Tage Damm. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gert Vik kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Thomás Nickerson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wictor Mejling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wictor Mejling. Wictor Mejling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.
