Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Sefer kicked off to start the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Sefer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 16th minute of play. Ahmet Sefer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Skaradowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to La Pantera Azulgrana getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ahmet Sefer hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Sefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when La Pantera Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Sefer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ahmet Sefer came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the La Pantera Azulgrana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Sefer couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Sefer came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dibag Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dibag Martinez having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save La Pantera Azulgrana from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dibag Martinez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Dibag Martinez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 61st minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dibag Martinez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Dibag Martinez threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Pantera Azulgrana's Dibag Martinez did a great save. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Macos Graciani hit a great ball. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Luque's late challenge caught a La Pantera Azulgrana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Luque helped the player get up and apologised. La Pantera Azulgrana's Christian Bidari was substituted for Ahmet Sefer. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because La Pantera Azulgrana had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
