Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frans Hökkvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomás Nickerson got free with Julio Vera in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wictor Mejling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Bagarmossen's Frans Hökkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Hökkvist in the 17th minute of play. Bagarmossen's Wictor Mejling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Tor Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bagarmossen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bagarmossen's Wictor Mejling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wictor Mejling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 27thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagarmossen's Wictor Mejling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frans Hökkvist had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera had great luck who in the 36thth minute grab hold of the ball when Frans Hökkvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Frans Hökkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Håkan Landin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Bagarmossen's Tor Fredriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Håkan Landin in the 55th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Bagarmossen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Bagarmossen:s Wictor Mejling showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Wictor Mejling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Mejling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Wictor Mejling was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bagarmossen's Gert Vik was substituted for Tage Damm. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Norberg in the 74th minute of the match. After 75 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fritz Elg who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Fritz Elg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 77 played minutes Bagarmossen got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Godholm. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Norberg in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Mejling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Norberg's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Thomás Nickerson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
