Douglas de Souza scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruy da Rocha was slow to take the kick. During this time Floresta Club U18's players had a chance to rest. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Douglas de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas de Souza in the 20th minute of play. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. When Floresta Club U18's Tomé Reis in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. Primitivo Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo de Brito having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floresta Club U18 the free kick. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Tomé Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomé Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Douglas de Souza sped through Paraguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacobo Nores. Gilmar Castro scored 0-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Douglas de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Léo de Brito made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a free kick in the 40th minute. Gilmar Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Gilmar Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta Club U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Floresta Club U18 were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
51 minutes into the game, Gilmar Castro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jacobo Nores. Gilmar Castro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 54thth minute of the game Douglas de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilmar Castro had several of the Paraguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Jacobo Nores as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 61st minute, Gilmar Castro made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Gilmar Castro made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tomé Reis however managed to control. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Castro in the 68th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas de Souza in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Douglas de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Douglas de Souza took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Vito Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo da Rocha hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Jaime Pardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paraguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas de Souza in the 86th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Douglas de Souza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th play minute Douglas de Souza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jacobo Nores. 1-11. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Floresta Club U18 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
