Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ovidiu Cosâmbescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the match, Romos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes Romos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14thth minute of the game Luisão Romero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. When Luisão Romero came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Romos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Romero couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romos FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Romos FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dinu Andone hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Romos FC defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidiu Cosâmbescu. The Romos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Cosâmbescu should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Romero in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Wu Cheng De's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. With 43 minutes on the clock, Primitivo Andino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Julio Vera went to the wrong direction when Wu Cheng De was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Luisão Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

56 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidiu Cosâmbescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Romero in the 64th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luisão Romero's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute Wu Cheng De shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Cheng De came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Romos FC throughout the match.
