An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 44th minute of play forced Girona FC's goalkeeper Lastur Murcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Roman Gdaniec ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.

Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match Mariano Lacasa climbed in front of goal and pressed up 4-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Lastur Murcia. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
