The audience thought a goal was coming when D.J. 武磊 got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Borys Poreda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria Toruń's zone, Santino Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Borys Poreda came out of the goal and Santino Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Poreda prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
