Florian Gondek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Demonde Jacobson made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lechia Gdańsk's Szymon Kociniewski got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tanek Slazak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When the match was over Jamaica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lechia Gdańsk throughout the match.
