Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sid Lampard started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Camilo Gisbert made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Paredes in the 5th minute of play. Esteban Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After taking down the ball on STARS TEAM's corner Esteban Paredes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Ateş Rahim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Esteban Paredes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ateş Rahim having to interfere. In the 27th minute, René Riechel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ateş Rahim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ateş Rahim having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by STARS TEAM's Esteban Paredes. But to his dismay, Esteban Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ateş Rahim managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, STARS TEAM's goalkeeper Ateş Rahim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Sid Lampard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Paredes in the 66th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ateş Rahim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Paredes's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76thth minute of the game Esteban Paredes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ateş Rahim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Sid Lampard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute Sid Lampard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sid Lampard's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The STARS TEAM support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
