Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faouzi Louahla in the 4th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Hemza Khaled. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Larkins Potter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larkins Potter. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Wara's Larkins Potter fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Faouzi Louahla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Elias Urdaspal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Wara's goalkeeper Elias Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Urdaspal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, one of Wara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wara. Wara:s Elias Urdaspal showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. Elias Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Urdaspal prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Wara getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Larkins Potter hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Urdaspal made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Elias Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wara's Elias Urdaspal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Wara from getting a goal against them. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Urdaspal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wara's Elias Urdaspal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes Wara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Luca Rouco managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Facundo Cadaval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Urdaspal having to interfere. With a little luck, Wara's Elias Urdaspal got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Wara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. 91 minutes into the game, Faouzi Louahla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After 91 played minutes Wara got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Louahla. After having played for 92 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Wara fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
