Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Matei Cârstea sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Calistrat Bordeianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Cârstea in the 51st minute of play. A hard shot 68 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Calistrat Bordeianu managed to make a qualified save. Carp Team's players were relieved. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Eguzki in the 73rd minute of the match. Calistrat Bordeianu made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Bordeianu having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Eguzki in the 79th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carp Team's goalkeeper Calistrat Bordeianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Calistrat Bordeianu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Cârstea in the 96th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
