The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Afiz Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasiliense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afiz Phua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhu Xiao Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afiz Phua in the 69th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. Zhu Xiao Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brasiliense FC throughout the match.
