Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marinos Mouratidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Moustakidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestoras Tsatsoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The supporters of Katsilimaνika booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Marinos Mouratidis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Grigoris Moustakidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Grigoris Moustakidis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Marinos Mouratidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loukas Adamos during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Katsilimaνika got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Adamos. If Marinos Kisemlis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestoras Tsatsoulis in the 37th minute. When Grigoris Moustakidis came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Katsilimaνika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grigoris Moustakidis couldn't finish the play. Kostas Nikolaidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marinos Kisemlis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Marinos Kisemlis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Katsilimaνika's Kostas Nikolaidis got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestoras Tsatsoulis in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Kisemlis in the 61st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Katsilimaνika's goalkeeper Kostas Nikolaidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Marinos Mouratidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Marinos Mouratidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marinos Mouratidis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, Marinos Mouratidis made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Marinos Kisemlis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Aaron Alcocer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kostas Nikolaidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Mouratidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Marinos Mouratidis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Katsilimaνika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marinos Mouratidis couldn't finish the play. Grigoris Moustakidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Katsilimaνika were the better team. Katsilimaνika's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
