Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Benjamin Carberry got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waud De Geyter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. When Silver Squad AFC's Benjamin Carberry in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Loid De Keuster could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. After 17 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrik Ooms who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Silver Squad AFC's Henrik Ooms to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Carberry got free with Julio Vera in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was a well-played corner which Izydor Czysta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 32 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Waud De Geyter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 35th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Frans Van Caubergen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Silver Squad AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

Silver Squad AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 64 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Frans Van Caubergen. After 72 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Paiva. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waud De Geyter having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Radzyminski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 78th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Waud De Geyter however easily saved by the left post. Felix Montenegro's late challenge caught a Silver Squad AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 96th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ecuador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
