The corner led La Naranja Mecánica's Samuel Checa to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gonzalo Morales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. La Naranja Mecánica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Checa in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Gonzalo Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gonzalo Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Naranja Mecánica's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Morales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The throw-in from Cristo Iraunkor in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. After 57 minutes, Osvaldo Oidor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Naranja Mecánica and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Naranja Mecánica getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Osvaldo Oidor hit a great ball. When Gonzalo Morales came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the La Naranja Mecánica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Morales couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otto Smitt was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Iraunkor during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristo Iraunkor hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Oscar Medardo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Medardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 minutes, Salvador Gisbert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the La Naranja Mecánica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Naranja Mecánica.
