Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Carberry. After 22 minutes, Frans Van Caubergen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Squad AFC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Carberry in the 25th minute of play. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Carberry. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waud De Geyter was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. If Frans Van Caubergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waud De Geyter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 43 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waud De Geyter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Carberry to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waud De Geyter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Waud De Geyter came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 66th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Waud De Geyter made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waud De Geyter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Silver Squad AFC from getting a goal against them. After 85 played minutes Mariano Lacasa rounded Silver Squad AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. 89 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waud De Geyter. Silver Squad AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Frans Van Caubergen kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chile walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
