The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abuzer Keçeci got free with Julio Vera in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A very nice done corner allowed Claudinho Bastos to score against Julio Vera in Ecuador's goal. 1-0 after 4 minutes. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors of Gora™'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Ramoser came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute, Warriors of Gora™'s Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 13 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazar Cukić kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiano Ramoser showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Ramoser was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 28 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Goran Jeknić who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced Warriors of Gora™'s goalkeeper Fabiano Ramoser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warriors of Gora™'s Fabiano Ramoser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Warriors of Gora™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fabiano Ramoser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Warriors of Gora™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazar Cukić to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Fabiano Ramoser made a huge save. Claudinho Bastos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Warriors of Gora™ were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
