Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Villem Ärsis got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Ponce in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carolo Ponce who took care of the corner kick. Evaristo Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced Vormsi Vald's goalkeeper Evaristo Truylos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Vormsi Vald's Villem Ärsis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Villem Ärsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Vormsi Vald's Villem Ärsis got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match Vormsi Vald got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carolo Ponce ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Vormsi Vald's Carolo Ponce to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Vormsi Vald's Evaristo Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Leonel Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vormsi Vald's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Truylos came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Truylos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Vormsi Vald's Carolo Ponce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vormsi Vald's Evaristo Truylos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Vormsi Vald from getting a goal against them. Evaristo Truylos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 69th minute. Evaristo Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vahur Muruaas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vormsi Vald's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Truylos came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Vahur Muruaas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Evaristo Truylos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 94th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
