When Guillermo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Silvano Cibran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zapniów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Boguslaw Jaraczewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Silvano Cibrans short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Zapniów getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kjell Holmberg hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Chile's Mariano Lacasa tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play forced Zapniów's goalkeeper Boguslaw Jaraczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvano Cibran's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Silvano Cibran was slow to take the kick. During this time Zapniów's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Konstanty Budzyn heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Kajetan Pasterski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Zapniów's Kajetan Pasterski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Silvano Cibran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Cibran in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Zapniów's Boguslaw Jaraczewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Zapniów from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Zapniów's Marcin Drozdowski got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Boguslaw Jaraczewski to make any attempt to save it. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Gerlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Zapniów's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boguslaw Jaraczewski came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Zapniów's Silvano Cibran. But to his dismay, Silvano Cibran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski made a huge save. Boguslaw Jaraczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zapniów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapniów's goalkeeper Boguslaw Jaraczewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Zapniów's Boguslaw Jaraczewski got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Pozo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute of the match Ignacy Zakrzewski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
