An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of play forced SMOKI's goalkeeper Patryk Glozor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Mexico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patryk Glozor made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, SMOKI's Patryk Glozor got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Patryk Glozor in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
