The corner led SEFEROĞULLARI's Eliseu Veloso to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Shi Feng Zhen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vince Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th minute of the game Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in which Patricio Costa played forward. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berkem Bekata in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Berkem Bekata managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEFEROĞULLARI's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkem Bekata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Berkem Bekata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vince Santo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Berkem Bekata came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Vince Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Vince Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SEFEROĞULLARI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vince Santo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vince Santo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SEFEROĞULLARI. 67 minutes into the match, SEFEROĞULLARI's goalkeeper Shi Feng Zhen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Vince Santo scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vince Santo in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 74 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. SEFEROĞULLARI's Abdulbaki Tuğtekin was substituted for Vince Santo. In the 77th minute Abdulbaki Tuğtekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SEFEROĞULLARI getting a freekick after 80 minutes play.
