Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Sarmiento during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. In the 11th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hans-Jürgen Nudelman. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrizio Ravanellis short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Marcos Cotilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 18 minutes into the game, Walter Siggman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute of the match, Walter Siggman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrizio Ravanelli. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thor Dalström hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Göran Nordgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Walter Siggman sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Samyang Ramen made a substitution. Bo-Erik Apelkvist replaced Fabrizio Ravanelli. 67 minutes into the match, Bo-Erik Apelkvist notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Hans-Jürgen Nudelman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Samyang Ramen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Jürgen Nudelman couldn't finish the play. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam Yang went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 96th minute Bo-Erik Apelkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Samyang Ramen had won after a very even match.
