Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ian Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Prestes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Teodoro Prestes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Brasil came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Álvaro Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Álvaro Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Teodoro Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Maciel in the 40th minute. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. If Teodoro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Fiori Diniz. With a little luck, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Ian Brasil got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costa Rica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Tasis in the 73rd minute. The corner led to Costa Rica's Juan Rubio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ian Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 76th minute. After 83 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Prestes in the 85th minute of play. Teodoro Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
