USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wiktor Ekström in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 16 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Monty Rogers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Åsbro Flåsegutter from getting a goal against them.
