Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benito Naldo kicked off to start the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Naldo in the 3rd minute of play. Ernesto Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Mete Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Madison's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ernesto Emmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The throw-in from Felix Luque in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Madison's Ege Træet. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Benito Naldo sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Ernesto Emmanuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facundo Cadaval scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernesto Emmanuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Madison's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Emmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 35th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Lorenzo Cazalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Naldo in the 40th minute of play. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Ás Ronaldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Emmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madison's Benito Naldo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Osasun charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Osasun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Omar Osasun hit a great ball. Ernesto Emmanuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Emmanuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gol in the 66th minute of play. Benito Naldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Gol came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Gol in the 78th minute of the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Madison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri Ladva to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernesto Emmanuel. Alberto Tafalla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The supporters of Madison booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 94th playminute. Madison made a substitution. Juan Fernando Quintero replaced Cristobal Chumo. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Madison throughout the match.
