Luis Tanio hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes, Henning Flink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glemmingebro IF and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Glemmingebro IF got a freekick which was hit by Henning Flink. The supporters of Honduras booed when Glemmingebro IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Brent didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Oskar Hammarström. Glemmingebro IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walter Bergström. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Glemmingebro IF's Henning Flink got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Flink in the 38th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kristian Arenstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Esteban Carvallo's late challenge caught a Glemmingebro IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Walter Bergström made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Sven-Oskar Hammarström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Gustaf Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sven-Oskar Hammarström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Honduras were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
